Today is a great monday, because I just finished to write my 8th (out of 9) chapter of my incoming book.
After Flash Game Development by Example and Box2D for Flash Games – which I highly recommend if you don’t have them yet – I am about to release my 3rd book with Packt Publishing.
It’s a book about Cocos2d-JS updated to version 3.0 and I am doing my best to put in it everything you need to create awesome HTML5 cross platform games. From tween to particles, from Box2D to Chipmunk2D physics, from touches and taps to swipes, three different kind of virtual pads and even more topics have already been covered, creating one game each chapter along the way.
I am really excited with this project and I hope you all will like it. Should be released around Christmas so now you have an idea for a perfect gift.
