The new version of Construct 3 engine is growing and having a lot of support from Scirra guys, with 23 new versions published since the initial release, launched about 2 months ago.
I tested the new engine building a working prototype of “Zhed” game directly into my browser without writing a single line of code, using the free version.
While still awesome, free version has some limits, in general about the amount of layouts and stuff you can create, and does not let you export your game for various platforms.
Scirra announced the full version would be available by the end of the summer, but with such an effort – remember, 23 new versions in about two months – so you can finally start using Construct with its full power.
Plans vary from EUR 89.99 / USD 99 per year, that means a bit more than $8/month, which makes this tool really affordable for everyone.
