Talking about Game development, HTML5 and Monetize.

If you are an old reader of the blog, you should remember when I blogged about the experiment to monetize a Flash game.

Almost 6 year passed since then,and although I am still making Flash games, it’s time to begin another experiment to see if I manage to monetize an HTML5 game.

While monetizing a Flash game is quite easy thans to services like FGL and MochiMedia, things get more complicated with HTML5 since it’s quite a new way to distribute games.

During the weekend I will work and complete this game:

Which is basically a remake of my old WorDrop Flash game.

The point is… how will I try to get the best out of this game? At the moment, I will focus on these steps:

1) Make it playable from its own site, running my ads

2) Make it playable on Facebook, running my ads

3) Try to market it on marketJS

4) Try to market in on Softgames

5) Try to market it on BoosterMedia

6) Any other way which will come into my mind (all in all, it’s an experiment)
