Talking about Contests, Game development, HTML5 and Javascript.

You probably already know Andrzej Mazur from Enclave Games as he is the guy behind Js13kGames, the JavaScript coding competition for HTML5 Game Developers which only accepts games smaller than 13 kilobytes.

Probably Andrzej loves number 13, as his new game jam wants us to build a Web game within 13 days starting from… yes, April 13.

Welcome to Gamedev.js Jam!

Participating: you can use #gamedevjs hashtag on Twitter to share your progress, ask for feedback, see what others are building and hopefully help them out if they need it. There’s also a brand new Discord server for direct communication.

Submitting: submit a HTML5 game on a given theme (revealed at the start), between April 13th and 26th 2020. It can be a solo submission, or a team effort. You can even submit more than one entry if you want to.

Voting: will be open to all who submitted a game, and will happen for a week right after the submission period ends.

Prizes: will be given to the best entries of the overall ranking, and include
Making Money with HTML5 ebook, WebStorm, PlayCanvas and Phaser Editor licenses.

Check the official Gamedev.js Jam page for more information and updates.
