Talking about Actionscript 3, Flash, Game development and Stencyl.
While I finally recovered from the flu and I can start blogging and developing again, I want to show you two cute things I am doing with StencylWorks and that I’ll share in a couple of days.
Look at the video:
the first part is a Bejeweled prototype I am going to release once completed, at the moment the features included are:
* Field setup with 8×8 jewels (fruits) on stage
* No initial matches on stage (this means, the matching engine is already working)
* The player can select a fruit
* The player can swap two adjacent fruits
* Matched fruits disappear
the second part is taken from Kira the Witch game and features minion patrolling the platforms, and the interesting thing is there isn’t any sensor or dummy actor: the behavior is built upon the Tile API so yes, there’s a bit of coding in it.
These are the StencylWorks projects I am currently working on, so stay tuned and I’ll teach you how to be awesome with StencylWorks.
Never miss an update! Subscribe, and I will bother you by email only when a new game or full source code comes out.
