Talking about Construct, Game development, HTML5, Javascript and Monetize.
Just in case you don’t know about the FGL opportunity for HTML5 games, I want to give you a brief update about it.
The interest in HTML5 games is so high FGL, the best Flash game industry marketplace, is going to massively encourage HTML5 development and branding, paying developers up to $200 in advance for publishing your HTML5 games with their APIs as reported in the official opportunity page.
I tried this service with a Construct2 game called Whack a Creep, a quick “Whack a mole” game.
I only had to submit my game and a couple of assets through their easy wizard and FGL guys made all the rest of the work, creating the icon and various promotional artworks.
They also published the game on the Amazon Appstore for Android:
And a couple of months later, I got this email from FGL founder Chris Hughes:
This means my game was featured in the Amazon store!
Unfortunately for a strange series of events I wasn’t able to check the email during that days so when I run to the store to take a screenshot, it was no longer featured, but according to FGL statistics I had a four days boost of served ads.
I am completing other games at the moment, can’t wait to publish them as well and see what happens.
Never miss an update! Subscribe, and I will bother you by email only when a new game or full source code comes out.
