HTML5 Suika Watermelon Game

Talking about Contests, Game development, HTML5, Javascript and Monetize.

Let me spend a couple of words abou the BLUR app, a messaging app mixed with a platform to promote HTML5 games.

Basically it works this way: while you chat and message with your friends, you can also compete with them playing HTML5 games inside the chat window. Wouldn’t it be great? As a developer, you will get your game promoted while people are messaging each other. As you won’t provide complete games but only small demos/teasers, people who like your games while chatting will be able to play the full versions directly on your site.

That is, you will be using the BLUR app as a way to showcase your games. At it won’t take more than 3 lines of JavaScript to get your game working inside the app.

You’ll have to wait until April 2017 to get your hands on the app, but in the meantime you can test the app and have the chance to win $1000 – as well as getting your game showcased when the app launches – with the Blur Launch Jam.

Hey, and I am one of the judges, together with some really famous guys like Jimmy Joe McGurl, a globally ranked gamer and professional game commentator, Andrzej Mazur from Enclave Games and Will Eastcott from PlayCanvas.

Submission will end on February 26, multiple submissions are allowed and you can also submit games you have already released, as you can see from the official FAQ.

To enter, you have to submit a responsive HTML5 game which can be played offline on mobile devices, providing all the assets. Obviously the rights of the game are yours. Get ready to get your game promoted to millions of potential players with BLUR app and the Blur Launch Jam.

Never miss an update! Subscribe, and I will bother you by email only when a new game or full source code comes out.
